Shrewsbury folk festival
22- 25 August 2014
It could be said that we are creatures of habit. So it was no surprise that we went to Shrewsbury Folk festival in the Tardis for the 4th year in succession, and went to look at our usual parking space/ camping spot. There was a Giraffe there ... in the exact same space:
They were on display from the
British Iron Work Centre I'll do a separate page to show some of the other sculptures.
And as it happens this year we had parked somewhere completely different, and just found the Giraffe later on when we went steel animal hunting.
Jobs done
Lumber support in my chair using air bags from an office chair
Winch electrics wired up and tested ... about 18 months after buying it. That's worth a separate web page too.
Our better parking space was near tent 2
but turned out to be under a spotlight
Festival was bigger and better, Weather was mixed with a fair share of rain and record breaking cold at night. I picked the best day to cook a tagine ... recipe and timing worked better than ever this time.
