Just the job !! Two 400W lights to give bright shadow free lighting --- and a bit of heat too.

Five new panels ordered today. After much agonizing over the colour and the value of Vohringer ply we finally ordered Morland lightweight laminated ply 3mm  in light grey. It seemed just as good as Vohringer, local sustainable source and an almost identical colour to Vohringer graffitti grey.

At last a job that has been put off for some time - investigating the damp panels in the living area: Damaged panel in living area after a bit of poking. Rotten but dry. Damp area by bed. Does not look too bad but still wet. Living area with panels removed. Some wood to replace. But damp coming in from the bed area. Bed area with panels removed. Terribel wood. Lots of work needed. How far does it spread?

MOT passed today. The mechanic explained how they fail vehicles on brake pads because they can't see them properly !! The steering column is better, even if the actual at £100 ish was rather more than the 10p circlip that I could have got away with, but I've sorted out one or two problems not spotted at the MOT. The brake pads are new and ougth to last as long as I have the tardis for, even if the old ones had 30% life left in them. The little white lights at the front are all present and correct, even though they serve no useful purpose.
